Our Commitment
Mama Moore Advocacy is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We work to make our website usable by as many people as possible, regardless of technology or ability.
Standards We Aim For
We strive to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities, including those with:
- Visual impairments (low vision, blindness, color blindness)
- Hearing impairments
- Motor disabilities
- Cognitive and learning disabilities
What We've Done
Steps we have taken to improve accessibility on this site:
- Semantic HTML structure with appropriate heading hierarchy
- Alt text on images
- Sufficient color contrast for body text
- Keyboard-navigable interactive elements
- Responsive design that works across screen sizes and zoom levels
- Focus indicators on interactive elements
Known Limitations
We are a small business and our site is continuously improving. Some areas may not yet fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA standards. We are actively working to address any gaps.
